Smoking cessation, usually called quitting smoking or stopping smoking, is the process of discontinuing tobacco smoking. Tobacco smoke contains nicotine, which is addictive and can cause dependence. As a result, nicotine withdrawal often makes the process of quitting difficult.
During the therapy session we will use Hypnotherapy to access your subconscious mind through trance techniques. Hypnotherapy can help you to quit smoking as a stand-alone strategy or combined with other methods, such as nicotine replacement therapy. Hypnotherapy works by targeting the physiological triggers and getting people to imagine the many unpleasant outcomes associated with smoking.
